Located Highway 28 in the County of Smoky Lake, 1.5hrs drive NE of Edmonton and 3.5hrs south of Fort McMurray, the Village of Vilna is a quaint and historic Alberta boomtown and home of the World's Largest Mushrooms.

We are also the smallest community ever awarded participation in the Alberta Main Street Programme's heritage preservation initiative.

With the majority of our historic buildings having been restored, our picturesque Village is one of the most memorable in the province with its wooden boardwalk sidewalk, beautiful decorative lights, colorful banners and hand-crafted benches.
